Stratus is fictional and recreational. We do not sell travel, employ real flight crew or operate real aircraft.
Applicants must be 16 or older, provide accurate details, use one personal account and protect their assigned callsign and password.
New pilots must complete their first approved flight within 14 days of joining. Active pilots must then complete at least three approved flights in every rolling 60-day window. Staff receive automated activity warnings when action is required.
Flights, telemetry, fuel use and network activity must be genuine. Slew, teleporting, manipulated data and deliberate economic exploits are prohibited.
Pilots must communicate respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation and disruptive behaviour are not permitted.
ACARS records simulator position, aircraft state, flight events and scoring data. Operational and security logs are retained to run and protect the service.
VATSIM, IVAO, Discord, SimBrief and Navigraph have separate terms. Pilots using them must also follow those services’ rules.
Avatars, biographies and uploaded files must be lawful and used with permission. Stratus branding must not imply a real-world airline affiliation.
Warnings, flight rejection, suspension or closure may follow rule breaches. Serious security or safety issues may require immediate action.
